How's It Goin?

Sep 13, 2008

So it's been awhile since I updated. The closer I got to my due date the more worn out and tired I was so I wouldn't update.

Emmalyn Ann was born July 2nd, 2008 at 11:54 AM. She weighed 7 lbs 12.5 ozs and 20.5 ins long. She turned two months old September 2nd, it's crazy how fast they grow. She is an excellent baby and I couldn't ask for anything else. At her 2 month appointment, she weighed in at 12 lbs 3 ozs and 23 inches long. She almost, not quite, doubled her weighed! A girl I went to high school with told me today that her 8 month old daughter just now weighs 16 lbs! Crazy. But I don't mind. I'd rather have a chunky baby over a skinny baby lol.

Daniel traded in his 1996 Mustang GT in for a 2002 Rendezvous CXL. I am also sending my car back to the buy here pay here place we got it from because the new car is 20 times nicer and only costs 305 a month (153 bi-weekly) and my 1999 Saturn (piece of crap) is costing 400 a month (200 bi-weekly). Not to mention the new car is through a bank, while my car isn't, so I don't get help with credit having it. We'll just have to get us to one car. We also have to pay 280 a month for insurance, we went from paying 80 for his car on liability to the 280 but that's both of us on the insurance AND full coverage.

Well other then that, that's about it. I went back to work exactly six weeks after I had Emma, cause we needed the money.

I'll update later!

Been Awhile - 31 Weeks!!!!

May 02, 2008

So it's been awhile since I've blogged. I've had alot of other things going on. Daniel and I got an apartment in March :) so we're on our own now. Things have been a little stressful since we've moved. Our income has been verrry tight. I just quit working at Sears this week. I wasn't getting enough hours to even cover gas (it's about a 10-15 mile trip). So I finally called it quits. I should be getting hired back on at Wal-Mart. At first I was just going to go back to cashiering, but another manager Tracy, talked to the Co-Manager about putting me in Photo Lab instead. It'll evenually be more money then cashiering and a whole lot better then Sears. I should have my interview hopefully tomorrow. She said she'd call me tomorrow, so I'm hoping I can get in for the interview that day too. I hate going back but I don't have much of a choice.

I am currently 31 weeks along as of today! I have 9 weeks to go!!! I'm kind of excited, alittle nervous since I'll be a first time mom. I'm ready to get her out and show off her cuteness though hehe. Not to mention she can be a pain the butt sometimes with her kicking and she loves to stick her head out right under my ribs on the same side! It can get sooo uncomfortable. I go back to the doctor Tuesday and I think I'll start my two weeks visits then. Everything has been good with the pregnancy, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. I've been more stressed out the past few months then I need to be, but it's hard not to be. I haven't had to money to really get anything for her though :(. My mom and grandpa went and bought the bassinet though, so we'll have that. We have a few outfits for her too. I'm hoping with the rebate check I should be getting I can get the car seat/stroller and crib I want. Plus my baby shower is coming up the 18th so hopefully I'll get some good stuff then.

Anyway, that is about it really. I'll try to be a little bit better at blogging...but don't get your hopes up.

Hey!

Mar 01, 2008

Well just thought I'd make an update real quick. I think we might have gotten one of those apartments but we won't know for sure until Monday and they told us that they were continuing the $149 move in special for those it's taken this long to get in. So that's nice.

Last Friday, my driver's front window got shot out by a pellet gun. It's been going on for awhile now. It happened to my brother in January when he was over and then it happened to my car almost a month a later. Grr. Luckily we just spent $50-60 to buy one from a junk yard and put it in ourselves. The only problem is we were having trouble keeping it on track, well we got in on track but I'm to scared to roll it down right now in case it gets knocked off again. AND the driver's door won't open from the inside right now. This plastic clamp broke when we were getting the door handle off, so we had to use something else just to get the door handle on, and now it won't open lol. We'll have to take it in to someone and see if we're going to need a new door handle or if they can just sell us the piece that broke.

Well other than that, it's been remotely uneventful. I'm getting less than 15 hours a week now, which is soo annoying, because I can't work on that. I have a baby to get ready for and I still have my car payment to make twice a month and I just can't do it with only $100 to $200 a payday, my car is $200 a payday on it's own :(.

Anyway, that's about it.
